Stain Removal

Treat Stains Immediately
Small stains can be rinsed with cold water, seltzer and blotted dry with a clean cloth. Never with paper towels.

Wool Stain Removal | Complete Stain Removal Guide

Stain	Step 1	Step 2
Coffee / Tea	Dab with mild soapy water or glycerine.	Rinse with 5% hydrogen peroxide in water or rinse with white vinegar.
Red wine/coloured liquids	Apply absorbent powder or salt. Brush off. Dab with mineral water or cool water.	Rinse with rubbing alcohol.
Tomato sauce	Rinse with cool water followed by mild soapy water. If oil based, apply spot cleaning fluid or spray.	Rinse with white vinegar.
Salad dressing	Apply spot cleaning fluid or spray.	Rinse with mild soapy water.
Chocolate	Dab with mild soapy water.	Apply spot cleaning fluid or spray.
Blood	Rinse with cool water.	Dab with mild soapy water.
Shoe polish	Apply spot cleaning fluid or spray. Dab with turpentine or white spirits.	Rinse with cool water.
Lipstick	Apply spot cleaning fluid or spray.	Rinse with mild soapy water.
Ink	Soak in rubbing alcohol, run, rinse with cool water.	Apply aerosol hairspray, dry, brush away.
Oil / Grease	Apply spot cleaning spray or fluid.	Rinse with cool water.
